Weekend Auction Wrap
A stunning weekend of sunshine brought people out to view Realmark’s auction properties over the weekend.

A stately four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence on a 736sqm corner block at 66 Amalfi Drive, Hillarys attracted a good crowd but it was passed in at $1.5 million.

Agent Sean Hughes said there were two interested parties who stayed back after the auction to discuss offers. He is still in negotiations with both parties and hoping to get a result this week.

In the exclusive Harbour Rise Estate, the executive home offers luxury finishes, a pool, outdoor entertaining zone and rumpus room only 800m from the beach.

A charming character home at 13 Selden Street, North Perth on a rare 774sqm duplex block was offered under the hammer but passed in at $1.3 million and is now on the market with offers being invited.

Its location is a major feature, sitting within the catchment of Kyilla Primary School, Mount Lawley High School and Edith Cowan University; walking distance to the Angove Street cafe strip and a short drive to the Perth CBD.

The beautiful four-bedroom, two-bathroom home has been beautifully renovated and features a spacious backyard with Bali-style gazebo and salt water lap pool.

At 42 Hastings Street in Scarborough, a large two-storey home on 571sqm passed in at $825,000. Agent Gareth Drummond said there were two genuine bidders on the day and he was negotiating with both of them.

“We are hoping to get a result in the next week or so,” he said.

The spacious four-bedroom home is close to the new Scarborough Beach precinct and has an R80 residential zoning with future redevelopment opportunities.

There were four bidders in the crowd for a grand residence at 61 Armadale Crescent, Coolbinia but it was passed in at $1.45 million.

Agent Paul Di Lanzo said he was now in negotiations with three parties and will present offers to the owner by the end of the week.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence rests on a huge 1012sqm block in one of Coolbinia’s most sought-after streets.

In Mt Hawthorn, a 968sqm superblock with an old character home attracted good crowd of around 50 people but was passed in at $1.35 million.

The property at 61 Flinders Street has three frontages and with its R60 zoning offers multi-dwelling opportunities. It also has an old two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage on the property and is only 20m from The Mezz Shopping Centre.

Agent Jon Williams said he was negotiating with three buyers who had conditional offers.

“Because this is a development site and not just a standard residential offering, buyers are doing their due diligence and feasibility with numbers so it can take a bit longer but we are confident it will sell shortly,” he said.
