SOS is a charity dedicated to helping families and individuals who have become homeless due to domestic violence or a crisis.
Their mission is to provide these individuals with necessary household items to help them establish and set up a new home - creating a sense of stability and comfort during challenging times.
It is solely run by volunteers and is the only free service of its kind in Perth, aiming to furnish six to ten houses per week.
Realmark director Anita Percudani said the organisation are long-time supporters of the SOS foundation.
“We want to ensure that families in difficult circumstances can still experience joy and warmth in the holiday season. Many of the families don’t think they will be able to celebrate Christmas,” she said.
“Teenagers often get overlooked when it comes to gifts, the team at Realmark wanted to ensure they didn’t this year and have kindly donated to the foundation.
“There are many families relocating under distress circumstances which can be a very expensive and emotional time. Realmark is here to contribute to them to ensure they get the safety and comfort they deserve.”
