Realmark Urban has joined forces with Perth-based construction and property leaders, Webb & Brown Neaves and Dale Alcock Homes.

This collaboration aims to tackle the pressing issue of Western Australia's housing supply shortage, while offering unparalleled advantages to clients of both businesses.

The housing market in WA is under extreme stress, with major factors including high employment rate and migration driving demand for property.

Compounding the problem are government incentives to build during the COVID era, supply chain disruptions and competition for labor from the resources sector, all of which has put a strain on the construction industry.

As a result, there are three times less listings on the market in Perth than five years ago, and the median rental price for a house has almost doubled, according to REIWA statistics.

Despite the demand, many buyers are shying away from land for uncertainty over costs and timing to build.

Realmark managing director John Percudani said the collaboration will help clients navigate the highly competitive market and potentially unlock new homes on undeveloped or underdeveloped land.

“By combining our strengths in real estate and construction, we can offer clients a holistic approach to property solutions, benefiting those looking to buy, sell or develop in Perth,” he said.

“Webb & Brown-Neaves and Dale Alcock Homes are a part of the ABN Group - national leaders in the construction industry and who provide exceptional customer service and local knowledge.

“Our sales agents will benefit from increased knowledge of the building industry including demolition, build opportunities and time frames with ABN able to provide personalised responses on specific opportunities.

“Through continued shared information and communication, I believe we can work together to help develop more properties sooner, helping West Australians achieve their property goals.”

The iconic West Australian brands are set to cultivate a strong collaborative ecosystem to benefit clients seeking land for new homes, investments or development projects and those requiring professional appraisal of their existing land holdings.

Simon Brady, sales manager at ABN Group’s luxury home builder Webb & Brown-Neaves said the relationship makes sense.

“We know people are nervous about building, especially if they have never done it before. But we also know that people are looking for some certainty in these times, and a strong business such as Webb & Brown-Neaves can deliver that,” he said.

“By collaborating with such a prominent and far-reaching real estate agency such as Realmark, we can help our customers find land and get them into their beautiful new home quicker.”

This strategic collaboration represents a significant advancement in the approach to Western Australia’s housing market, with Realmark, Webb & Brown Neaves and Dale Alcock Homes dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service.

Through this collaboration, they aim to redefine the landscape of residential sales and property development, by working together to find solutions and sharing information, offering advantages to stakeholders and contributing to the vibrancy and sustainability of the Western Australian housing market.
